Stallion GT "Nikki" Remake
This is another of hte "Pallet Wood" guitars. One of the initial body blanks I cut out was a Fender Jag-Stang style body. Yeah, the first six or so were all unoriginal designs - 2 belonging to rock musicians who designed their own guitars (Paul Dean and Kurt Cobain respectively) - but this is a little different.

See, I have a guitar in my collection that's my really favorite guitar - it's a 1995 Fender Jag-Stang with EMG pickups, nicknamed "Nikki". And this is going to be a replica, a reproduction, of that guitar, albeit it might be slightly diffrerent in some ways, as I don't want to step on the copyright holders.

Nikki's core design criteria is skinny 24" scale neck, high mass headstock, Kluson Revolution machine heads, EMG pickups - SA in the neck, 81 in the bridge, Pi2 Phase Inverter, special switching, no-load tone control, and a whammy system that gives a Floyd Rose a run for it's money WITHOUT a locking nut or any of that other goofey stuff that makes a Floyd Rose a pain to deal with. The finish might end up being a different color though, I might go with some form of Red, maybe even Fiesta Red (but the JApanese orangey tint version), and black hardware with a black pearloid pickguard. But we'll see, I may end up staining it too because the wood on this looks friggin awesome. Basically - we're building a Jag-Stang with EMG pickups and a souped up Dynamic Whammy.
