Bringing back the good old FAQ.....so here it is in it's full glory, just like the good old days of the web....

So what is this website about?
| It's just my own personal website where I write about the things I enjoy. Aside from the "Dark space" of my opinions (though they are also distributed throughout these pages as well), most of it is a high technical focus with some nostalgia, anecdotes, and the occasional critique.
|
Why not make several separate sites?
| I already have three others and all hardly get any updates anymore. At some point, I'll probably just consolidate down to this one, singular, website. It's just easier to write about it here.
|
Why are your pages so long/material so dense?
| Because I'm about DETAILS. As a old-school surfer and researcher for trade and hobby, it really irritates me the short attention span of the internet in the 21st century. Some of my favorite pages were long, well written, and full of details that explain the how, why, and what of things, rather than just glossing over details that might save time and money to throw out a standard answer I could get from some jaded weirdo in real life. The whole point of the internet was for the free-exchange of information after all. A point that seems lost in the 21st century.

**TIME SENSITIVE** - Because of all the political upheaval in the USA in 2025, don't you feel a bit scared having the "dark space" page on your profile?
| Not really. For starters, I'm a small fry, second, all I really do is mess with computers, guitars, write music, and play video games when I'm not working or with the fam so what do people I'm griping about have to be afriad of? That said, we have a Constitution with a 1st Amendment regardless of who is in charge so I shall follow that till the breaking point where I'll probably need to shift research efforts to something more inline with "survival". Plus, I have about as much social clout as that miliquetoast nerd kid screaming locked in his locker anyway in middle school.

Why are there two sections for Music Stuff?
| Organization, that's why. The Music section deals with my actual music, the "Gear Stuff" section deals with the equipment I make music with, mostly guitar-centric.
|
What kind of music do you play?
| On my own, and this is where I get to sound like one of those pretentious wingnuts who can't decide what genre to label themselves with, I basically play Post-Punk/New Wave and Arena Rock influenced Alternative Hard Rock with a Punk Rock DIY Ethos. Think of something like The Call, Stone Temple Pilots, or the Chameleons, but with Greg Hawkes on Synthesizer, and George Lynch on lead guitar, but playing a Fender Jaguar. That's kind of what I think makes a decent enough comparison. Outside of that, I play in all sorts of genres: Metal, Hard Rock, Arena Rock, AOR - my bandlab shows me branching into merging rock-based stuff with things like R&B, Hip Hop, Trap, and getting pretty Avant Garde at times.
|
Are you in a band?
| Not currently. My last band basically went on hiatus during the pandemic, and didn't invite me back afterward because they were about to enter into some kind of lawsuit due to other people's I.P. the creator got himself mixed up in. I also feel maybe the FnAF-esque mask I was wearing didn't help either. Then during the pandemic I found out that the local rock scene...some of the still standing venues, had some local hate group ties so I decided to separate myself from it.
