CREEPINGNET'S WORLD
KEYSTONE CAPERS (ACTIVISION)
Keystone Kapers was released by Activision in 1983 and created by Larry Kaplan. It's basically a platformer where you play a "Keystone Cop" - aka - old timey binney hat Ye' Olde English Constable, going after the classic black/white striped burglar whose been trying to burgle some nameless department store. You have roughly a minute (IIRC), to catch this guy before he runs off. If you run out of time, you lose a life, and every time you hit a obstacle, you lose time.

Obstacles are wide and varied for a 2600 game. You have red bouncing whoopie cushions, ceiling-tracked airplanes, radios that look more like a pincushion, shopping carts, and you have various bonuses in the form of suitcases full of money. The game gets progressively faster, bouncing higher if they bounce, with the enemies multiplying with each passing stage, making your trek harder. So yeah, another one of those "high score" games.

Cookie Crisp goes Klepto - My Experiences
So I got this on x-mas 1989 (not this copy, this was more recent), and it was around the same time that Cookie Crisp cerial came out - you know, the one with the dog and the cop, so like Adventure for the PC, I always kind of imagined this was the Cookie Crisp cop for some reason chasing after a burglar from one of the Police Academy movies. Sort of like some kind of crossover Paul Blartt without Paul Blartt, and 10 years ealirer.

This is another one of those fun ones in short spurts for me because I tend to play it when I want to kill some time.
