Baltron (バルトロン)[2] is a horizontally scrolling shooter for the Nintendo Family Computer (Famicom) that was released exclusively for the Japanese market on March 19, 1986.
In the year 2999, people from the planet Star Lenion are under Attack by the Bismark Empire. The game takes a lot of it's plot, and a lot of it's plot elements (such as the "Long ago, Far far away...." thing at the beginning) from Star Wars. So the game is pretty much flying a space craft fighting against the Bismark Empire by shooting down their minions and allies. The game was a Japanese exclusive and not much is known about it yet. Stay tuned, I'm going to dig on these games as I become infatuated with playing them for a period.
