Pac Land 1984, Namco, NES/Famicom |
Pac-Land is a 1984 Side-scrolling platformer created by Namco, originally for Arcades, and later getting ported to multiple platforms including the NES and the Famicom. The game was a project by Namco's R&D team to make a game associated with the Saturday Supercade cartoon about Pac-Man back in the early 1980's. It was created by Yoshihiro Kishimoto.
In Pac-Land, the player is to guide Pac-Man to the end of each level, avoiding various enemies and obstacles. Each level is called a "Trip" where Pac-Man is given some kind of mission to take care of along the way by getting through the levels, giving the game a various group of subplots.
