Xevious is a 1982 Arcade game ported to the NES/Family Computer around 1987-1988 under license from Namco.
Xevious is a top down, vertical scrolling, arcade-style "Schmup" (Shoot-em-up) where you fly as a space craft shooting down other spacey looking things on screen for high score. Xevious is one of those B/C grade classics for the NES that a lot of people are actually quite familiar with.
