Goonies
1986, Konami, Famicom
The Goonies is a 1985 movie Directed by Richard Donner, and featuring a soundtrack by Cyndi Lauper. The movie revolves around a pack of kids in Astoria Oregon near the "Goon Docks" that discover a treasure map by a "One-Eyed Willy" and go on a wild adventure while evading a family of criminals, the Fratellis, and basically, the whole movie is a range of adventures, booby traps, unexpected discoveries, and evading the Fratellis.

The Goonies video game was released in 1985 or 1986 for the Nintendo Family Computer in Japan but never was imported, quite surprising considering how popular the movie was in the U.S. I belive you basically play as Mikey the whole time evading the Fratellis and rescuing various Goonies in the treasure hunt that took place in the movie.

In America, we only got the "Goonies II" video game - ironic because there was planned to be a Goonies II movie, but the movie was never made. Really hilarious when you consider that the first movie got a game only Japan got to see, and then the second game came out for a movie that did not exist. LOL.
