Gradius is one of the iconic Schmups (shoot-em-ups) of the 1980's. Konami released it in 1985 and it was released on a multitude of platforms. It also seems to be a darling of various Famiclone compilations such as this one.
NOA - My Experiences So my first encounter with Gradius was working at Nintendo of all places. They had a Gradius arcade machine there in the break room, and it was one of my choices to play in the morning before my shift started (that and Super R-Type and Donkey Kong Jr.). I always sucked shit at it but had fun anyway. I never liked it enough to seek out the cartridge, but I'd never really throw it out of the collection either. So then I get this 400-in-1 thing for my 39th birthday and this is on it, so of course it's one of my favorites on the unit to kill time with. Then I picked it up also on the Pocketgames 150-in-1 Famiclone cartridge too. Videos Other Stuff |
