Mickey Mousecapade
1987, Capcom, NES/Famicom
Mickey Mousecapade was the first NES game licenced by Disney in 1987, and made by Capcom (all Disney licenses as far as I'm aware were handled by Capcom, WB usually used Kemco, and most movies used LJN).

In Mickey Mousecapade, you play as Mickey and Minnie Mouse in various levels based on older Disney cartoons such as a 1983's style house haunted by a witch, the Crocodile from Peter Pan makes a Cameo in a Wave-Filled level, and so on. It's just your basic platformer with the ability to shoot stars if you collect them. The interesting element is the choice to have TWO mice instead of one mouse per turn, sort of like a proto Donkey Kong Country kind of setup.

Capcom would go on to make more Disney related games such as The Little Mermaid, Adventures in the Magic Kingdom, Duck Tales, Duck Tales 2, and Chip and Dale Rescue Rangers. They also held some of the copyright or licensing on the Little Nemo Franchise.
Mickey Mouse in the Uncanney Valley - My Experiences
The first time I played this, I was 8 or 9, and it was when it was still fairly relevant. I borrowed it off my teenage bro-in-law who I also borrowed Dragon Warrior II from. Honestly, I played this more.

I remember thinking the house in this game would have made a good level for a Brave Little Toaster NES game (seriously, why has nobody done this one yet? Or at least a AGI Sierra Graphical Adventure!?!?). Maybe Little Richard would not give em' the licence for Tutti Frutti? Maybe the censors caught on to what that song was REALLY about? Maybe they could not make up enough enemies? I dunno.

However, I remember that damn Crocodile at the end of the second level, now THERE is an uncanney valley NES character.
