CREEPINGNET'S WORLD
Air Alert
1996, Nice Code, Famicom
So Air Alert is another one of the "INtellivision Ports" on this console. Yes, it seems that Nice Code software has been porting over Intellivision games to the NES. I'm not sure how compatible the GI CP1610 CPU is with the NES/Famicom's 6502 derived Rico 2A03 CPU, but it seems there is SOME compatibility there because this is already #2 of at least 2 ports found on the Sup 400-in-1 handheld done by Nice Code.

This game basically IS Astrosmash for the NES/Famicom. It even looks like it. Basically, in the game, you run back and fourth at the bottom of the screen, Space Invaders style, shooting at a meteor shower or an asteroid rainfall that threatens the planet you are on. Astrosmash itself was a game released for the Intellivision in 1980, and there was a clone of it made by their Atari 2600 label - M-Network - called "Astroblast" - which was the same game (and is superior due to the analog paddle controllers).

Astroblast/Astrosmash has become one of the more beloved Intellivision games, however, it feels very weird putting this up on a page for a NES/Famicom clone console, because the last thing I'd expect on such a device is an older Intellivision release - but hey, they did it with Ice Hockey too....so it's not THAT surprising TBH.
