Ninja Gaiden II, also known as Shadow Warriors II in England, was a NES game that revolved around one of the key pillars of 1980's pop culture - NINJAS. Seriously, the 80's was all about Japan, Ninjas, Technology, Being Rich, Pizza, New Wave, and parties. So honestly, if someone made a game called Super Samurai Ninja Millionaire New Wave Pizza Warriors in 1984, they would have had a goldmine on their hands!
In Ninja Gaiden II, one year after the events of the first Ninja Gaiden (and yes I'm reading these off of a Wikipedia page), Ashtar, the evil emporer hearing of the demise of the Antagonist of the previous game decides to spread darkness and chaos over the world using the Dark Sword of Chaos. You play as a U.S. Army agent employs Tsu Hiyabusa to defeat Ashtar. You play as Tsu obviously on his quest, using the ways of the Ninja to save the planet. The Ninja Gaiden series was one of the B-class tier popular series in the NES library at the time in the 1990's and has continued to spawn sequels ever since.Catchy Tagline - My Experiences Videos Other Stuff |
