Double Dragon II is a side scrolling beat-em'-up arcade game that was ported over to the 8-bit NES/Famicom. It is the sequel to the original Double Dragon (obviously) which also was ported to the NES from the Arcade.
The game starts with Marian, the trope damsel in distress, being shot to death by the leader of the Black Warriors. Once again we play as Jimmy and Billy Lee, to avenge for Marian's death, in yet another 1980's Karate beat em' up platformer. Double Dragon was an extremely popular series when I was a kid and spawned a string of sequels.
