Final Blood - Battlezone was Hacked to create Sudden Strike (VT02). This version was later extensively re-hacked to create Final Blood (VT02), Final Fighter (VT02), Final Fighter (VT03), Final Shot (VT02), and Frontal Fire (VT03).
Due to Atari selling the Battlezone IP rights (in a 2010s bankruptcy proceeding), this game is not found on newer licensed plug & plays; while ironically, the generic hacked versions are still common to find. One thing interestingly not mentioned here was that this could also be a port of Robot Tank by Activision. I'll have to replay this to figure out if it has the specific Robot Tank stuff on it or not (ie weather paterns, day-night cycle, etc.).Catchy Tagline - My Experiences Videos Other Stuff |
