Battle City is a game released in 1985 for Arcades by Namco, and released for the NES in 1990. It appears a lot on various Famiclones/compilations under alternate names such as "1990 Tank" or "Tank 90" as the case is this go out.
Battle City is one of those Programmable NES games where you can either play on pre-rendered tracks, or create your own, and then battle against enemy tanks on your own playfield or the built in ones. It's kind of like a user-editable version of the Tank levels from the Atari 2600 game Combat!
