Aladdin III
1992, RJZ?, Famiclones
This is not the more well known "Hummer Team" De-make of the SNES Game Aladdin - no, this is something else, entirely different, shrouded in Mystery.

In Aladdin III, you play who I presume is anotehr more Anime-version of the folklore hero of the middle-east - Aladdin - on his magic flying carpet.....shooting tic tacs at Witches, Spiders....and a whole manner of other things while floating across the skies of the Middle East. All the while, a pretty catchy tune plays.

Seriously, I don't know WHO made this, but I've seen other hacks list it as "RJZ", to make things more confusing in Bootleg-Game land, there's another "Aladdin III" modeled after the SNES/Sega Genesis game based off the 1995 Disney animated movie.
There's a hole in my pants....where you can sit and dance..... - My Experiences
So I first played this game on that now famous (on this webpage at least) downloaded 99999999-in-1 Contra ROM I got my hands on way back in the summer of 2001......I think. I do remember playing this at some point though.

First off, I remember this being called something else like Flying Carpet but I'm not 100% sure if that's the title or if that's just how I remember this one. See, I know Aladdin was a HUGE DEAL when it came out. So much so, even Gen X couples were getting in on the damn action - like my sister and bro-in-law - they had a friggin ALADDIN CUP, yeah, two Gen X college students with a damn Aladdin CUP! And I drank water out of that cup!

What's even nuttier about this game though, is the infectious, if a bit hilarious tune.....seriously, I wrote (READ: IMPROVISED) some (probably very embarassing)...not quite P.G. lyrics to it....just wait till the YouTube video comes out. Assuming Susan Wojawakajawazki does not kick me off the platform for "having his mind in the gutter".
