CREEPINGNET'S WORLD
Binary Land
1983, HudsonSoft, Famicom
Binary Land (バイナリィランド, Bainarī Rando) is a puzzle video game developed by Hudson Soft in 1983 for the MSX, FM-7, NEC PC-6001, NEC PC-8801, and in 1985 for the Famicom. The MSX version saw release in Japan by Hudson Soft and in Europe by Kuma Computers Ltd in 1984.

In Binary Land (hoo boy, someone LGTBQA+ is going to send me nastygrams for this one, look, I didn't name it, I'm just the meseenger, please, put that potato gun down!), you play as two "CIS Gender" Penguins in Love on their own separate paths on opposite sides of the screen to the singular exit at the top of the screen. Their names are Gurin (male), and Malon (female) - the player(s) control both characters at the same time, with movement being inverted when the character hits a wall on the opposing side. The trick is to figure out how to get BOTH penguins to the exit BEFORE the timer runs out or one gets offed by an enemy.

Of course, this game was never ported to the United States, so it's a Family Computer exclusive native to Japan only. It was also ported to the MSX and features two HUMAN characters of the same name and genders in it.
