CREEPINGNET'S WORLD
Burgertime
1986, Data East, NES/Famicom
BurgerTime, originally released as Hamburger in Japan, is a 1982 arcade video game from Data East released initially for its DECO Cassette System. It seems this was an early "black Label" release for the NES in it's early days of 1985-1987.

The player is chef Peter Pepper, who must walk over hamburger ingredients in a maze of platforms and ladders while avoiding anthropomorphic hot dogs, fried eggs, and pickles which are in pursuit (someone explain that one to the Health Insepctor!). You protect yourself by tossing pepper on them to hold the rogue ingredients in place for a bit to get away, or you walk over ingredients above them to knock em' off the stage for awhile.

Burgertime is an all time arcade classic so it's little surprise that it appeared on the NES let alone some chip-a-like platform 40 years later.
So what exactly IS the health report on this "Greasy Spoon" - My Experiences
My first encounter with this game was not the arcade, or the NES, but rather a show called "Captain N: The GAme Master". There's an episode where King Charles gives the N-Team a sentient Game Boy that wanders mid air and talks in a robotic monotone voice. Game Boy, being a "Kid" basically causes chaos and dismay everywhere he goes in the episode until Princess Lana shuts him off by yanking his batteries. IN one part of his reign of terror among the Palace of Power he goes to THIS game with Kevin, Simon, Kid Icarus, and Mega Man - which is in the Kitchen of the Palace (I guess this is what they do when they invite Prince Plenty and Donkey Kong to BBQ's at the Palace?).

Anyway, this game was one I was not all that interested in, I already have too frickin many games I like in the "wacky late 70's/early 80's Arcade" genre. And To be honest, this one is kinda' meh compared to a lot of them. Sure, it's fun, but a little challenging for me TBH.
