![]() One of my favorite Shoot-Em' Ups (Schmups) Pt. 2 - My Experiences I always liked "Shooters", because they hearken back to the "Short spurt" type videogames I like of the Atari 2600 era, with the 1942 series being one of my favorites because it's straightforward, and it seems (at least in the first game) that it rewards the player for not being a stupid carpetbomber by giving hit-percentages for every bullet spent.
