CREEPINGNET'S WORLD
FIVE NIGHTS AT FREDDY'S 3
At this point, Scott seemed to intend to end FNaF as a trilogy. And then THIS came out, only a handful of months, I think 7, after the second game. In Five Nights at Freddy's 3, this is when we start to see the franchise deviate from it's initial form and Fonzie's motorcycle is getting it's carburator tuned but not quite to the ramp yet. So in this story, you are still in a Freddy Fazbear-related location, but now it's a horror attraction based on the "urban legend". Back are the minigames, but now you have one actual animatronic, an old corpse of a man stuck in a "springlock suit" called "Springtrap" - basically a proto-version of the purple bunny Bonnie from the old Fredbear location presumably, and now he wants to come in your office and wheeze in your face (geeze, does he have COVID, this DOES take place in 2023 in most people's minds after all!).

Springtrap only made the lore problem worse, now more questions. Who is this guy, is this the so called "Springlock" suits from the 2nd game (yes...yes it is), why this horror attraction. Where's Freddy, Where's Bonnie, Where's Chica? Who tested the ventilation system or the camera system. Why could I pick up an over-the-air-station from 3 citiees away with a cleaner picture with rabbit ears than I can see this leaking corpse in a bunny suit on an LCD monitor? Who wired this place and with what? The Three Stooges with chewing gum and twine?

It seems to have been kind of forgotten compared to the other games for these reasons. Thankfully the series redeemed itself in it's 4th (and supposedly FINAL) sequel Five Nights at Freddy's 4: The Final Chapter (But not really because successful franchise) aka Five nights at Freddy's 4: Sheared Heart Attacks!
Wheezer the Geezer - My Experiences
Yay! Six in-game-hours a night trying to keep some old geezer in a bunny suit from wheezing on me! What is this? Springtrap the Superspreader event of 2023? What, does Springtrap have COVID-19? Monkeypox?

Honestly, this is one of the ones in the series I seriously make fun of. I know it bothers some people, but it's worth it for the comedy value of this installmet. This is kind of where the sharks appear and The Fonz is tuning the carburator on his motorcycle. See, unlike previously, where we can believe there was some kind of small-scale, local competitor to Chuck E Cheese and Showbiz Pizza Place where murdfers happend and/or abductions - now some stoned california stereotype has decided that he's going to make a "Horror Attraction" based on this "Urban Legend". And so, what does he do? "DUUUUUUUDENESSSS!! WE FOUND A REAL ONE!!" and then puts this mummy of a corporate asshat in a recalled bunny suit in the maze with you.

Honestly, this installment is one I have the least connection to, however, I do love the execution on the MiniGames here. Basically Robot Destructo for the Atari 2600. I did finally make a serious attempt to play the game in it's actual year of placement - 2023 - and got pretty far in....mostly by sucking Spring Trap back to hallway #2 with rampant abuse of Baloon Boy's voice box. However, that still was not enough to keep me from falling out of my chair and laughing at golden bunny butt boy's wheezing antics eventually coming to fruition.
