Arkanoid II: The Revenge of Doh', was released a year later in 1987 from it's original source Arkanoid (1986). The mysterious villan "Doh" has returned to wreak revenge on the space vessel "Vaus" again, and must fight 34 rounds of Super Breakout inspired block breaking madness of 64 to win the war.
Again, just like the previous, you guide a upgradable paddle known as the "vaus" around the bottom of the screen, breaking formations of bricks that can send you pills that give the Vaus special capabilities, all the while killing the "Doh" that come from the ceiling. Added within are some warping strategies and new music (and in this port - the MS-DOS port, Adlib music support). Arkanoid continued to have releases on other platforms after the PC, but kind of fell out of favor as a PC gaming title as PC gaming continued to have Graphical Adventures, RPGs, and later First Person shooters as the primary targets of entertainment choice on the platform.Tandy 1000 VS 486 - My Experiences YouTube Videos
