The game is basically you playing King Rastan as he recalls his tales of daring do as a Barbaric Knave fighting dangerous creatures and going on adventures before his rise ot King-hood. You control him via eight way joystick (or the numeric keypad in this case), as he goes about killing monsters side-scroller style, with six levels of bosses to defeat (most of them starting with "King" in their title, lol). It runs surprisingly well on a 4.77 MHz 8088, especially considering the high quality of the graphics.
